Synopsis for "Bloodline Part Six"

Orion, accompanied by Jovita, gets ever closer to finding his mother. Trying to calm his obsession, Jovita tells him that there is a greater war than the one within him and that he only ever fights the symptoms, not the disease. To prove that he doesn't need to see life as a matter of choosing sides, Jovita kisses him. But Orion is too far gone with his obsession and only thinks about fulfilling his quest to find his mother and taking revenge on Darkseid.

They reach Section Zero, and Lightray catches up to them. Unable to contain his fury, Orion advances head-on to the citadel, smashing through the enemy defenses, reaching his destiny: the prison cell where they hold his mother, Tigra. As he gets closer, Tigra confuses him with Darkseid, but Orion introduces himself as her son. Tigra is not surprised by his visit, but she doesn't want rescue either. Tigra claims that, wherever she may go, she will always be a prisoner and that she sees more life inside her prison cell than in the outside world. Orion insists on taking her to New Genesis, but Tigra admits she experienced the love of Darkseid, something he won't let her live with. Orion rejects the idea of Darkseid having a human and vulnerable side, but his mother makes him see that if he can have that, then his father can too. Orion bows and asks his mother if he is any different than Darkseid. But Tigra doesn't respond, and Orion cries in anguish and rage. Orion leaves, denying Lightray, Jovita, and himself the truth of what he just found.

Orion's screams are heard by Kalibak, who has been monitoring and helping Orion without him noticing. Kalibak knows that Darkseid is not the stone-hearted monster he wants to be seen as, and he helped Orion so he could find the same revelation as him. DeSaad finds out about Kalibak's treason, but Kalibak kills him before he could blow the whistle. Darkseid finds out about DeSaad's death, and seeing he has new concerns, he sets Harvey Lockman free, returning him to Earth. He confronts his son, Kalibak, and kills him for his betrayal. Watching the remains of his most devoted servants, Darkseid concludes he will have to resurrect them eventually.

Inside the ruins of the Dreggs, Metron watches as an Old God is reborn and, with his new-found powers, resurrects his fellow Old Gods.

Meanwhile, on New Genesis, the people carry on a vote to choose whether they accept Commander Gideon as the new military leader or preserve Highfather's peaceful way of life. Highfather results to be the winner of the debate.
