New Suicide Squad #3 is an issue of the series New Suicide Squad (Volume 1) with a cover date of December, 2014. It was published on October 8, 2014.

Synopsis for "Pure Insanity, Part Three"

In Russia, Deadshot is discovered alive in the wreckage by a clean-up crew, and they decide to bring him in to their general, who orders them to divert the remaining three of the Suicide Squad from the area and to deny the existence of the Rocket Red Brigade in order to save face with the UN.

Black Manta, meanwhile, is struggling to keep Harley Quinn and Joker's Daughter from each others' throats. When he finally tears them away from each other, he receives a call from Amanda Waller and Vic Sage, demanding a status report. Grumpily, he warns Harley not to fall for Duela's attempts to goad her as Amanda briefs him on Deadshot's location. To Waller's annoyance, Sage discourages them from going after him, suggesting that they instead look further into the Rocket Red Brigade. Deathstroke, meanwhile, is off the grid.

One of Joker's Daughter's jibes gets on Harley's last nerve, and she attacks the girl with such violence that Manta can't intervene. They crash through a window, and Harley beats the girl into unconsciousness, warning her to be anything but the Joker. When Manta catches up, he decides to leave Joker's Daughter behind while he and Harley search for Deadshot. Hearing this, Sage orders Waller to shut off their end of the communication, and demands that she blow up Manta's head for disobedience. She refuses, reminding that while he is in charge, she is the only one with authority to detonate the nanobombs. Instead, she gives Manta Deadshot's location.

Deadshot, meanwhile, is being tortured, refusing to give up his compatriots' locations. He is surprised, though, when he discovers that his torturers are taking orders from Deathstroke.
