Synopsis for "Forever Amber: Confrontation!"

Amber evades the cops from arresting her when gunfire from the ship alerts them to the drug bust going bad. She finds her father's home, expecting to kill him, only to find a sickly shriveled man who welcomes her with adoration. He explains that he got sick from agent orange while serving as an engineer, which caused him to be taken back to America. He tried to help her mother and sent whatever money he could, but he was a walking corpse and couldn't dare send for Amber to live with a dying man like him.

He then gets a phone call and learns that an activist group he was a part of that's fighting for veterans rights just kidnapped a general who was attacking them on the news and they plan to kill him. Amber comes with him and helps stop them from killing the general, and then Amber uses her amber powers to threaten to kill the general. He says he was prepared to die in a blaze of glory, just like those soldiers were but they didn't consent to a slow, agonizing death by agent orange, and he definitely doesn't want to die by being turned into living amber and shattered. He cracks and promises not to speak out against the activist group after that.

Amber then accompanies her father to Congress as he begins working to fight on behalf of veteran needs.
