Synopsis for "Love Story"
Far out in space, a Tamaranian starship voyages toward Earth; its mission: to bring Princess Koriand'r back to her homeworld. In Olympus, meanwhile, the Teen Titans witness the official instatement of Lilith as a goddess. Then Zeus returns the Amazons to Paradise Island, and the Teen Titans, together with Kole and the winged alien, to New York. The latter, inconsolably distraught over his separation from Lilith, flies off, unaware that he is being observed from afar by the minions of the Church of Brother Blood. Over a meal, the Titans learn from Kole how she was given her powers by her scientist parents, and Jericho offers to help her find them again after the two years she spent as Thia's kidnapped thrall. The heroes separate, Nightwing and Starfire going to Dick Grayson's apartment, Changeling and Cyborg visiting Victor's grand-parents, Wonder Girl spending some time with her husband, Terry, and Kole going to stay with Jericho at his mother's home. The next day, Joe and Kole travel to her parents' new home in upstate New York, only to have her father, Professor Abel Weathers, try to drive them away. Angered, Joe possesses the scientist's body and forces him to allow them into his laboratory. There, the two teenagers are confronted by a horde of horrific creatures which Professor Weathers has mutated from ordinary humans in a mad effort to discover a new lifeform that can survive the nuclear war he sees as inevitably forthcoming. Stricken with fear, Joe and Kole run from the mansion, and return to New York.
