Hellstrike was a member of Stormwatch.
History
Nigel Keane worked as a police officer in South Africa. Just before he turned twenty-five, his abilities manifested. He was later recruited as a member of Stormwatch.
He served for some time before retiring. After he retired, he purchased Clark's Bar from its previous owner and became its proprietor.[1]

- Racism: Storm Control referred to Nigel Keane as "a little racist," though Hellstrike does make peace with X, a fellow Stormwatch member who is a person of color from South Africa.[2][3]
Notes
- Hellstrike was created by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi, first appearing in StormWatch #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Hellstrike first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Stormwatch (Volume 3) #19 by Jim Starlin and Yvel Guichet.
Trivia
- Though originally established as Nigel Smut during The New 52, he was later established to be named Nigel Keane, like his original Wildstorm counterpart.
- He is described as extremely ruthless and efficient.[2]
