Nightfire is the brother of Wyynde and a member of the Khe-Wannantu.
History
Wyynde helped Nightfire pass to his trial to become a warrior within the Khe-Wannantu tribe just after Wyynde became the tribe's dhonu.[1] He was one of only three members who survived the cities drowning by Garn Daanuth.[2] He joined Wyynde, along with Arion, Lady Chian, and Mara aboard pirate Captain Bloodmoor's ship the Black Unicorn.[3] Wyynde continued to treat Nightfire like a child, protecting him from danger aboard the ship. Nightfire realized he needed to be his own man and stayed with Bloodmoor when the rest of the group left for Atlantis. Wyynde was sad to see his brother go but understood he was now a warrior and needed to find his own path.[4]

- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
