Synopsis for "Dead Meat"

Nightwing and Batman were overwhelmed by the thugs of Timothy "Lunchmeat" Deever and are now about to be eaten by some huge pigs. Nightwing wants to buy themselves time by mentioning that only him and Batman know the whereabouts of Deever's son Frankie. As Deever wants to pull Nightwing out of the pigsty, Batman emits a massive electric shock through his utility belt to free himself and his partner. Deever gives his men the order not to kill them before he knows where his son is. But then he suddenly gets called by Frankie on his cellphone. Obviously Frankie escaped, but so have Nightwing and Batman.

Returning to the Batmobile, Nightwing needs to get off his chest that he does not really appreciate Batman interfering in what he calls his own personal crusade and that Blüdhaven already feels more like a home to Dick than Gotham. This surprises Batman and he leaves stoically.

Meanwhile, Blockbuster hires both Lady Vic and a man called Stallion to kill Nightwing, and if necessary, the Batman as well.

After a short chat with Oracle, Dick tries to call Bruce, but its Alfred that answers the phone. Dick tells his friend what happened between Bruce and him and that he wants to apologize for some of the things he said. Then Dick gets to work in Hogan's Alley and is surprised to see that one of the guests there is Matches Malone ...
