Synopsis for "Rise of the Underworld, Finale"

Neron gives Nightwing two hours worth of superpowers, including super-strength, speed and flight. Dick considers using his new powers to defeat Neron once and for all, but Neron reminds him that his friends are currently under attack on Themyscira and Dick flies over. He pulls Gorilla Grodd out of the fight, and without his telepathic assault the Titans and Batgirl quickly overpower the other two villains. He explains what is happening to the others and they ask him what he will do with his remaining time.

In Hell, one of Neron's demons asks him why he gave Dick powers, and Neron replies that he believes he can use the power to tempt Dick into making a deal with him. Trigon comes to Neron's tower and confronts him for his failure, telling him that his inability to take Olivia's soul is making all the demon lords appear weak. He tells Neron to deal with the situation, implying that the other rulers of Hell will band together and destroy him if he does not. Neron decides the time for subtlety is over and orders a full-scale assault on Themyscira.

Back on Earth, Dick uses his powers to help Wally destroy an illegal dam in Thailand which is preventing villages downstream from receiving desperately needed water. He then decides to head to Metropolis and meet with Superman before his powers wear off. Superman takes him into space to look down at the world together. He tells Dick that protecting the world means more than just fighting villains, it also requires standing against a system which doesn't care about the future; he warns Dick that, now he is in charge of protecting the world he will upset powerful people by doing what is right. Oracle calls Dick to tell him that an army of demons is attacking Themyscira and he dives down to help.

The others tell Dick to get Olivia to safety and he flies away with her. He carries her into some mountains, where Neron is waiting for them. Nightwing's two hours of superpowers run out and they crash to Earth at Neron's feet. Neron tells Nightwing he will make the power permanent if he just gives him Olivia, tempting him with all the good he could do with them; Olivia even offers to sacrifice herself, saying that she understands the world needs him. Dick refuses and activates the residual magic in his escrima sticks; he strikes Neron, who reverts to his true form as a green, bloblike monster with tentacles and retreats back to Hell. The Titans return Olivia to Themyscira, where Donna tells her that the Amazons would be happy to take her in and train her to be a hero. Olivia eagerly accepts and thanks the Titans for saving her.

An hour later, Raven secretly travels to Hell and tells Neron she will not allow him to threaten Olivia again. She blasts the weakened demon lord, knocking him unconscious, and hands him over to Blaze. Blaze agrees to cancel Olivia's debt in exchange for Neron's throne, but tells Raven that she can sense a part of her is missing.

Synopsis for "Nightwing & Superman in: Night at the Circus, Finale"

Nightwing and Superman determine that the bomb in the big top was planted by a recently fired circus employee called Brian. They investigate his abandoned trailer and realise he had enough explosives to build many bombs. Dick tracks down Brian and arrests him while Jon collects the other bombs hidden inside teddy bears around the circus. Jon then gives a replacement bear to the little girl who had the original bear bomb.

The two of them go off to enjoy the carnival together. At the ring toss, Jon notices that the ring is too small to fit over the pole. He innocently assumes that it must be faulty and helpfully stretches it out with his super-strength, then asks the man running the stand if there is anything else he needs "fixed". The carny gives them ten prizes to leave immediately, which Jon again naively assumes is a reward for "helping". Dick fondly tells him "never change".
