Synopsis for "The Crew of the Crossed, Part Two"

Dick Grayson finds himself face-to-face with his ex-girlfriend Bea Bennett, who turns out to be the leader of the Hold. She tells her men to lock Nightwing up on the ship, and before they take him he sees her unzip the Quartermaster's body bag and cry over him. Dick realises that the Quartermaster was Bea's father.

Four burly sailors taken him to a prison cell below decks and attempt to beat him up, blaming him for the Quartermaster's death as Zucco lead Heartless to the Hold and the Quartermaster gave Zucco to Nightwing rather than having the Hold deal with him. Bea comes down to find them fighting and breaks it up. She takes Nightwing up to the deck and reveals that she knows he's Dick Grayson. She tells him that she is adopted and there are members of the Hold who believe that her brother, the Quartermaster's biological son Dirk Blüd, should be the captain. This would be disastrous as Dirk is a ruthless criminal who would turn the Crew of the Crossed Keys into something evil, when she has worked hard to make it a force for good. Bea tells Dick that if he helps her capture Dirk and hand him over to the authorities, she will give him his parcel.

Bea sends Dick downstairs to change out of costume and he changes into the clothes he finds in a chest: a pair of knee-high boots, tight pants and an open shirt. Meanwhile Oracle tells him that she has looked into Dirk Blüd and Bea is telling the truth about his rap sheet. He goes up on deck and Bea tells him there were normal clothes in a cupboard he missed, but that he needs to stay in that outfit now. A crewmember falls overboard and Dick is about to jump in and save him, but finds himself mysteriously frozen with fear. Bea dives in and saves the sailor instead.

When Bea gets back on the ship Dick tells her that the man was pushed and she has a traitor on the ship. Bea agrees and tells him she knows where Dirk is but she can't allow the location to get out and makes Nightwing throw his mask overboard so they can't be tracked.

Synopsis for "Emo Buddy, Part 2 of 3"

The Three Bears follow Dick and Jason Todd to a bar in The Hill. They notice the three watching them and walk out to the alley. When the Three Bears attack Dick and Jason easily beat them and Jason tortures them for information. Mr Hatch goes into the alley to look for the Bears and finds them bloodied and unconscious, with a note shoved in one of their mouths warning him to stay away.
