Synopsis for "Knight Terrors, Part 2"

It's been four months since Dick Grayson gave up the mantle of Nightwing.[1] Detective Alphonse Sapienza (Prime Earth) stumbles across Nightwing's costume still encased in glass amidst the charred wreckage of his former hideout.

Meanwhile Grayson, now going by Ric, is having nightmares of his former life as a superhero. He bumps into Alfred Pennyworth, who he can no longer remember after being shot in the head.[2]

Elsewhere in Bludhaven, a worried mother visits a psychiatrist named Dr. Gruidae to discuss her son's suspicious death. What she doesn't know is Dr. Gruidae is actually Scarecrow in disguise.

Grayson drives his cab to a pawn shop to look at jewelry that reminds him of his mother. He is then interrupted by a gunman who demands he drive him his taxi and all his money. Grayson instinctively takes the man down, shocking himself with the aggressiveness of his muscle memory.

In the epilogue, Detective Sapienza dons the Nightwing costume, opting to take charge where no one else will in defending his city.
