Strange chose them. People wrestling with their childhoods. Fighting grief. Fear. Manipulating those around them-- trapped by their own egos. Their faults. Four patients. Synopsis for "Night of the Monster Men, Part 5"
Batwoman and Gotham Girl are able to cure Nightwing as he falls on the lancet delivering the reverse engineered anti-steroid.
A monster has emerged from the gunk removed from the cave evacuation site and is on its way into the city.
Gotham Girl has picked up Spoiler and Nightwing. She deposits them at the top of a tall building. Together, they are able to pull up videos of Hugo Strange's sessions with the four former patients who are now terrorizing the city.
The team activates the Wayne Watchtowers. The monster DNA proves to be programmable, and the fallen monsters reassemble into a a new mutation. Spoiler and Nightwing were able to locate where Strange's data originated from--Anders Towers. They also deduce from watching the sessions that the four monsters were patients struggling with broken childhoods, symbolizing Batman's own.
Batman prepares to face Strange on his own. The final panel shows Strange dressed as Batman.
