Synopsis for "A Nite to Remember"
Nightwing confronts "Ric Grayson", who reveals himself to be a fifth dimensional imp named Nite-Mite. Like other imps before him, Mite-Mite claims to be Nightwing's biggest fan and is overjoyed to meet his idol; plus, even though his preferred ship is Nightwing/Starfire, he's happy that Dick has found love with Batgirl. He declares that their relationship needs "progression" and teleports all their friends to the woods for a wedding. They tell him they're not ready to get married and he begrudgingly sends the assembled heroes back to where they came from and teleports him and Nightwing to Bludhaven.
Nite-Mite tells Nightwing that Blockbuster had a secret daughter named Olivia whose soul he sold to Neron in exchange for greater intelligence, and now that Blockbuster is dead, Neron's demons have come to collect. He can't get directly involved because it could spark a war between Hell and the Fifth Dimension, so he empowers Nightwing's escrima sticks to banish the demons back to Hell so he can save the child. Nite-Mite also brings in Haley to help Dick, outfitting her with a costume as "Bitewing" and giving her the ability to speak.
Nightwing and Haley break into Blockbuster's skyscraper and make their way to Olivia's room, where they find her guards dead and five demons surrounding her. They defeat four of the demons but the last one grabs Olivia and holds her hostage. Olivia reveals that she has super-strength like her father and punches the demon through the wall.
Nightwing takes Olivia to Raven, as the powerful sorceress will be able to hide her from Neron. Olivia thanks Dick and Haley for saving her, and Dick tells her she should also thank Nite-Mite, as without him they would never have known she was in danger. She hugs Nite-Mite and thanks him too, despite him saying that he's not a hero. After Raven and Olivia teleport away, Nightwing asks Nite-Mite what his real name is, saying he shouldn't build his entire identity around someone else. Nite-Mite tells Dick that his real name is Dyxl, and suggests that he could become Bludhaven's "new Blockbuster", but use his money and power for good.
