History
When an over-zealous Nim-Ed pictured himself as Rik-Ar riding a Winged One to freedom, he declined to wear a headband. In order to teach him the true history, his mother told Nim the story of "The Headband Warriors of Krypton"[1].
A revolution was launched with no weapons but headbands and conviction, and the lesson was to honour those who had fought tyranny by wearing a headband. But Nim-Ed might have taken the story too seriously, planning a headband revolution at school...

- This version of Nim-Ed, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023.
