History
Nuclear Man was an enemy of Superman, who had been trapped in the Phantom Zone. When Rogol Zaar arrived in the Zone, the two fought each other, with Zaar emerging as the victor.

- Nuclear Man first appeared in the film Superman IV: The Quest for Peace written by Lawrence Konner, Mark Rosenthal and Christopher Reeve. He was adapted for Prime Earth continuity by Brian Michael Bendis and Ivan Reis, debuting in Superman (Volume 5) #2.
