Quote1 I don't sleep now. Not ever. Objects and people around me trigger dream-flashes that come straight into my conscious mind. No more fainting fits. No more "flaky" swooning. Just crisp, sharp images of the future. I can't say if they're one-hundred percent accurate... but they haven't been wrong yet. Quote2
Nura Nal src

Dreamer is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.

Nura Nal aka Dreamer hails from the planet Naltor. The Naltorians possess precognitive abilities. Nura claimed that her name was Nura Schappin, she changed her name to Nal because, "It just says I'm from Naltor y'know." Nura is first precog to be born on the planet Naltor in seven generations.

Nura suffered from narcolepsy, falling unconscious whenever she had a vision. Nura gained Legion membership under the codename Dreamer.

Powers

  • Oneiromancy: Like all people native to Naltor, Dream Girl is clairvoyant, and has the ability to forecast future events based upon visions she sees in her dreams. This ability is 100% accurate in all situations, though there have been occasions when Dream Girl has misinterpreted the visions that she sees.
    • Precognition: Dream Girl can forecast events that take place up to one year into the future - a range greater than that of any other Naltorian. The advanced acuity of this power was enhanced by her sister the White Witch.

Abilities

  • Genius-Level Intellect: Dream Girl has a keen knowledge of Naltorian super-science and has used these skills to alter Lightning Lass' powers, enabling her to affect the mass of other objects.
  • Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): She is also expertly trained in hand-to-hand combat, a skill she found necessary to develop to compensate for having such a passive super-power.

Weaknesses

Dream Girl couldn't choose her visions while she still was technically "alive". It is not known if she can choose her visions now.

Precognitive Misinterpretation: While her prophecies are infallible, Dream Girl is not, and she has at times misread events in her visions.

  • Narcolepsy: Nura suffered from narcolepsy, falling unconscious whenever she had a vision

Equipment

  • Legion Flight Ring: All Legionnaires were presented with a flight ring that enabled them to defy gravity and sustain movement through the air by aerodynamically generating force.
