Dream Girl is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.

Nura Nal aka Dream Girl hails from the planet Naltor. The Naltorians possess precognitive abilities. She is daughter of Kiwa Nal, who was the High Seer of Naltor and sister to Mysa Nal the White Witch. After foreseeing the deaths of the Legion of Super-Heroes, she crafted a plan to save them. As part of that plan, she worked with an expert to change the powers of Lightning Lass.

It was however revealed the Legionnaires she foresaw dying were actually android doubles. Having joined the team under false pretenses, she left the Legion temporarily and became a member of the Legion of Substitute Heroes.

There she was reunited with Star Boy, with whom she had become romantically involved. Star Boy had previously been expelled from the Legion for the self-defense killing her former love, Kenz Nahor, who had tried to murder Star Boy out of jealousy.

Nura later became leader and on her first mission she had to defend the United Planets from Darkseid.

Nura is a scientific expert but not on par with Brainiac 5, but she is considered to be one of the four smartest members of the Legion. Nura engaged in extreme training sessions with Karate Kid to make up for her lack of physical power.

Powers

  • Naltorian Physiology
    • Oneiromancy: Like all people native to Naltor, Dream Girl is clairvoyant, and has the ability to forecast future events based upon visions she sees in her dreams. This ability is 100% accurate in all situations, though there have been occasions when Dream Girl has misinterpreted the visions that she sees.
    • Precognition: Dream Girl can forecast events that take place up to one year into the future - a range greater than that of any other Naltorian. The advanced acuity of this power was enhanced by her sister the White Witch.

Abilities

  • Genius Level Intellect: Dream Girl has a keen knowledge of Naltorian super-science and has used these skills to alter Lightning Lass' powers, enabling her to affect the mass of other objects.
  • Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): She is also expertly trained in hand-to-hand combat, a skill she found necessary to develop to compensate for having such a passive super-power.[2]
  • Leadership: Dream Girl was a leader of the Legion of Super-Heroes. She led the team through many crises including one in which Nura handled Darkseid.[3]
  • Meditation: Nura explained she would meditate to enter the Dreaming.[4]

Weaknesses

  • Power Limitation: While the visions in her dreams are infallible, Dream Girl's interpretation of them is not.
