Octavia was the princess of the Atlantean principality of Aurania, who was elected president after Aurania regained its independence.

History

Octavia's home was conquered by Queen Clea, and then overtaken again by the tyrannical King Manlius. After both tyrants had been overthrown and expelled her people elected her their new ruler but had a deep seated distrust of the position which Sontag Henya took advantage of to stage a coup. After Sontag's attack was brought to a close Aurania formalized their fledgling democracy by putting in a rule that their president will be up for election every two years.
