Oenone is an Amazon botanist.[1]
History
Oenone serves as a gardener on Themyscira and is well known for her botanical know how as well as her love of swimming, with the ability to talk to the Megalodon that guard the Themyscira's waters. When Diana of Themyscira was a child, Oenoe taught her how to preform deep sea diving with the help of a aquatic respirator made by the Amazon blacksmith Io.[2]

- Oenone was created by George Pérez and Chris Marrinan, first appearing in Wonder Woman (Volume 2) #27. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Oenone first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Wonder Woman #770 by Jordie Bellaire and Paulina Ganucheau.
