Oliver Queen is an outlaw who was hired by the Kingdom of Storms to kill King Jor-El.
History
Oliver was tasked to fire the magic arrow created by the Green Man and kill King Jor-El to stop the prophecy foretold by Constantine from coming true. He succeeded and hit Jor-El in the eye, killing him.[1]
The Green Man abandoned Oliver and Bat-Prince rode out after him alongside Alfred. Oliver fired an arrow at Alfred but Bruce caught it mid-air and snapped it in half, much to Oliver's surprise. Bruce then leapt off his horse and cut off Oliver's left arm. Oliver was brought to the dungeons where he was interrogated by Kal-El. He told Kal-El to kill him and get it over with, but Kal-El replied that his family were not murderers.[2]
A mysterious blond woman was placed bound and gagged in a nearby cell. Oliver was able to flick a stone at exactly the right spot to knock off her locked metal gag. She told him that her name was Dinah, and she had been thrown in prison because she possessed a powerful scream that the Els were afraid of. Oliver asked her if her scream could destroy the dungeon walls, and she said that it could but she could not control it and would bring the castle down on top of them if she tried. Oliver offered to teach her how to better aim her scream and free them both.[3]
As he was tutoring her, Queen Lara came down to the dungeon and began murdering the prisoners with her heat vision. With no more time to waste, Oliver yelled at Dinah to hit Lara and she screamed down the corridor, knocking Lara away and blasting the doors of the cells. Knowing that Lara would soon be coming after them, Oliver got Dinah to blast through to the next room, which turned out to be the armoury. Dinah told Oliver to get a weapon and, when he told her he could no longer use a bow without his arm, she advised him to take a crossbow.
Dinah blasted through the external wall, where they saw a full pitched battle going on outside. Lara chased after them and they attempted to flee through the battle. Suddenly Lara was tackled down to Earth by her exact doppleganger. The battle paused as the three armies stopped fighting and for a moment stared in silent shock at the two Lara's. Alfred yelled to use fire against her and so Oliver lit a crossbow bolt and shot the Lara who had been chasing them in the chest with a flaming crossbow bolt. She burst into flames and transformed into a white-skinned monster. The El's attempted to capture the creature but it flew away and vanished into thin air.[4]
After the battle, Oliver was re-arrested and returned to the dungeons. However, he was soon after released by Kal-El, who told him that, while Oliver had killed his father, he understood he had been manipulated and believed he was saving the world. Oliver said that Kal-El was not the monster he had believed him to be, to which Kal-El replied, "I did try to tell you that".[5]
