Synopsis for "The End of the Beginning"
The Vega System now knows peace thanks to her religion. The "* Darkstars" keep everything in order for her, but the Omega Men aren't having it. Back on Earth, a strange object is pulled out of the ocean and the Spider Guild want it.
After a church is destroyed, Chancellor M'Jyn'r calls in Vril Dox of L.E.G.I.O.N. for security against the Omega Men. However, the Guardians of the Universe redirect Vril to Earth in order to stop the Omega Men.
Darkfire has an unnerving dream about "her." Back on Earth, Mother Zed and the Spider Guild visit the Philippines. Mother Zed tries to stop the Spider Guild but is consumed. The Omega Men arrive on the scene to assist Mother Zed's companion. But, the Spider Guild appears as quickly as they arrive. The Omega Men are not out of hot water yet though - Vril Dox has arrived, along with L.E.G.I.O.N. and some powerful friends.
