History
Oswald was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. When his once wealhy family lost its fortune, his father committed suicide and his mother went insane and was committed to Arkham Asylum. Oswald moved to the United Kingdom, where he grew up to become a criminal. He returned to Gotham City as an adult and was seen by Bruce at a campaign party at Wayne Manor. Oswald invited Bruce to Cobblepot Park, where he intervened as the latter was mugged and told him about a "revolution" to come, urging Bruce to be on the "right side" when he starts it.
