Synopsis for "Roll Call of Heroes!"
When Phil, a soldier in Easy Co. whom Rock could never remember his last name, made light of the fact that Rock was born to be a sergeant, Rock reflects back to a time when he wasn't so sure of himself in the early days of the war when he fought in Africa. He recalls a story when he helped his friend Slim fight off a Nazi air attack, which ended in Slim dieing in battle.
Later, when they're pinned down by a Nazi pillbox, Phil is mortally wounded, and Rock helps him get in his last grenade toss (Which destroys the pill box) before Phil dies. Later, Rock plays an important part in destroying a Nazi tank which rolls into their dug outs, and destroying a Nazi Gatling gun. After the battle, as Rock is being patched up by a medic, some of the soldiers ask him how he does it, to which Rock responds that they'll know the answer the next time they're front and center in the middle of a battle.
