Synopsis for "Rock's Battle Family"
Hearing his fellow soldiers remarking about the fact that he is an orphan, Rock reflects on the fact that he has no family to speak of. However he recollects different events where he established what he calls his "Battle Family."
The first are an elderly couple who invite him into their home when he was separated from his unit. He would help defend their home from from Nazi tanks. After they are destroyed, the couple "adopt" Rock as their son. Later while on a mission in France, after saving a woman and her child, she asks Rock to be the boy's godfather. Later still, Rock saves Marie, a member of the French Resistance Army from a Nazi naval commander, and she becomes his "girl."
