Synopsis for Sgt. Rock: "Blood in the Desert"

During his deployment to North Africa with Easy Company, Rock meets another soldier nicknamed Farmer Boy who carries around a pot of soil. Farmer Boy protects the soil and wishes to make something grow from it.

Some time later during the campaign in North Africa, Rock wins his stripes and Farmer Boy is still protecting his soil. During a battle Farmer Boy is wounded, but he inspires Easy to destroy a tank. Farmer Boy dies, but his wish comes true as a flower springs forth from his soil.
