Synopsis for "Execution or Nice Universe, Sure Would Be A Shame If Something Happened To It"

Batwoman breaks into Jakita Wagner's quarters on the Carrier and finds the Planetary Guide. In it, she reads of Jakita and the Carrier's plan to use the Multiversal Cannon, Hex's gun and The End to destroy the Multiversal Library and restore their original reality. Batwoman and Batwing rush to the hidden chamber in the Carrier where they have built their ultimate weapon, but as it is so deep inside the massive ship they are unlikely to reach it in time. However, Kate tells Luke that she has called in some backup.

The Carrier reveals to Jakita that she allowed Batwoman access to the Guide and that she knows what they are doing. She regards all the Outsiders as her "friends" and wants to be on both sides; therefore she has decided to help Jakita, and also help Kate and Luke stop her. The Carrier opens doors to allow in Kate's "backup": Jenny Crisis, Jinny Hex and the baby sea monster from the Enlil Triangle. The three Century Babies hit her with their strongest attacks, but Jakita simply gets up and reveals that she in completely unhurt. She then stomps on the ground and creates a shockwave that knocks them all down, demonstrating her strength. She punches a stone pillar to powder and tells the Carrier that if she doesn't want to see the Century Babies die, she'll open some more doors. The Carrier opens portals to safety for each of them and Jakita throws them through.

Batwoman and Batwing run in, the Century Babies having bought them enough time to reach the hidden chamber. Jakita says that she is disappointed to see them act like stereotypical superheroes after having seen the truth of their existence in Limbo and learned that they are just figures in a story. She goes to fire the gun and Luke pulls out a batarang to stop her. Jakita tells Luke that she had hoped he at least would be curious to see what would happen. She implicitly threatens him by asking him to "go out fighting" as the story demands. Remembering the Final Knight, Luke stands down. Using Hex's gun to aim, Jakita fires The End through the Multiversal Cannon into the rift into Limbo created by the Carrier. The world around them begins to dissolve into a white void and the Carrier realises that she can't pick both sides. Batwoman says that they're doomed and it's over, but the Carrier just replies "It's never..."
