The Palindrordnilap were a spacefaring commercial race that noticed the growing demand for interplanetary security firms such as the Green Lantern Corps, Darkstars or L.E.G.I.O.N. and started their own commercial business.
History
Hiring tough characters from all across the galaxy, they ultimately chose Guy Gardner to be their leading enforcer. He agreed, on the condition that they rename themselves to the "Gardners of the Universe" and all adopt his haircut, so that people would know he was in charge.
Notes
- The Gardners of the Universe are an extremely obvious reference to the Guardians of the Universe.
