Pan is the satyr god of the wild, lust and rustic music.

Pan is a lover of women—all of them—and he fashioned his signature pipes from the reeds that were once the hamadryad Syrinx, his greatest (and unrequited) love. He is always accompanied by a flock of little female fairies.

He tried to get Burnout to use the pipes as he realised that he loved Rainmaker, but never said anything about it.

Bobby used the pipes, which caused Rainmaker to enter a trance. Sarah then walked through the forest, removed her clothing and entered a pool of water to wash. Bobby followed her, but when he finally found her, she walked towards him and tried to kiss him. Bobby knew that it would not be right if anything happened between them, and so he used the pipes again, ending the trance.

Bobby later woke up, realising that it was all a dream, though Pan had left a forget-me-not pattern on Rainmaker's jacket, as a reminder of what might have been.[1]

  • Pipes of Pan: The music of Pan's magic pipes has the power to induce erotic desire in people, even without their will. However, it seems to be irritating to male ears, but quite pleasant to women.[1]
