Parthenope was an enemy of Wonder Woman.
History
Parthenope and her sisters were cruel sirens that were transformed into trees thousands of years ago as a punishment for their actions by Aphrodite. Centuries later part of the twisted tree into which Parthenope was transformed was used to carve a armlet that now was bought by the murderous Mona Menise who used the power the imprisoned siren gave her to attack Wonder Woman.
When Mona was caught by Wonder Woman the Amazon's Golden Lasso compelled Parthenope to resume her true form. Then, she would be delivered by Wonder Woman to the goddess Aphrodite, while Mona Menise would be sent to Transformation Island.
