- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the DC Animated Universe and is an adaptation of Patrick Dugan/S.T.R.I.P.E.. The original character was created by Jerry Siegel and Hal Sherman and first appeared in Star-Spangled Comics #1.
- Pat Dugan was voiced by Phil LaMarr.
- Teamed up with a homage version of the Seven Soldiers of Victory (Green Arrow, Speedy, Vigilante, Shining Knight, Crimson Avenger, and Stargirl) in the Justice League Unlimited episode "Patriot Act".
