History
Origin
Paul Christian lost his legs in a subway accident, limiting him to be in a wheelchair. Years later, he met Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner), who took compassion on him and tested his power ring to restore Paul's legs. Miraculously, Paul recuperated his legs and started to walk again.[1] However his new legs depended on his willpower, and when they failed, he blamed Green Lantern for taking away his power.[2]
Underworld Unleashed
In the Underworld Unleashed event, an accident stops the will of Paul, who loses his legs again. Neron took advantage of the situation and made an irresistible offer for him, which not only he gained new legs as the power to issue a green flame. He received the task to kill the Green Lantern, who failed him twice. Paul became a minion of Neron in Hell.
