Paula von Gunta was once a foe of Wonder Woman until she was reformed.
History
She lived on Paradise Island providing her scientific know how to fight truth and justice, aiding Wonder Woman on many occasions as the Amazons' chief scientist. Paula modified the Amazons' Purple Healing Ray, making it even more effective than it already was.[1]
When Changeling of the New Teen Titans was critically injured and near death, Paula healed him with the Purple Ray[1] and stayed by him during the Amazons' ensuing battle with the Titans of Myth.[2]
Notes
- This version of Paula von Gunta, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
- Paula's last name is given as "von Gunther", like her Earth-Two counterpart, in Marv Wolfman's New Teen Titans.[3]
