History
According to a Native Legend, Matto Largo is believed to be the land beneath which lies the Inferno of medieval legend. It lays between Brazos and Perotia, and is overrun with tropical-looking vegetation.
In the early 1950s a tunnel was excavated under 100 miles of the Matto Largo swampland, connecting the major cities of Brazos and Perotia. This project was expected to bring commerce and peace to the neighboring nations, but it was secretly undermined and sabotaged by the Perotian Ambassador to Brazos, Madame Mainot, who was secretly the head of Perotia's "war party." Her scheme was exposed, and her henchmen were defeated and arrested, by the Blackhawks
