Phade served as the general of Onimar Synn's Thanagarian army.
History
When a new isotope of Nth Metal was discovered on Earth, Synn sent Phade to retrieve it. She attacked Firebrand and Neon, who were in possession of this isotope, but were defeated. Onimar Synn then came to Earth himself, and after they escaped him, he sent a Brontadon and Phade along eith her forces to defeat capture them. However, Neon teleported Phade hundreds of feet into the air and the all plummeted to the ground. Despite this, Phade survived the fall, but was killed by Synn for her failure when he drained her soul.[1]

- Phade was created by Geoff Johns and Stephen Sadowski, first appearing in JSA #23. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Phade first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in The Unexpected (Volume 3) #2 by Steve Orlando and Cary Nord.
