In the 1940s, Philadelphia was the base of operations of All-Star Squadron members Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle. Liberty Belle derived her power from a replica of the original Liberty Bell which resides in the tower of Independence Hall.

In the 1940s, Philadelphia was the base of operations of All-Star Squadron members Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle. Liberty Belle derived her power from a replica of the original Liberty Bell which resides in the tower of Independence Hall.

In May of 1942, Nazi agents Baron Blitzkrieg and Der Zyklon broke into Independence Hall to steal the Liberty Bell. They murdered security guard Tom Revere and fought up against the All-Star Squadron members Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle.[1]
