Phosphorus Rex is a criminal enemy of Batman who was incarcerated at Arkham Asylum.
History
When Batman arrived at the institution to capture a corrupt guard, the guard released all of the inmates from their cells as a distraction. Along with the other inmates, Phosphorus Rex took part in the massive break-out attempt. The attempt failed as the numerous inmates were stopped by Batman and Nightwing and were forced to return to their cells.[1]

- Phosphorus Rex was created by Grant Morrison, first appearing in Batman #666. However, Phosphorus Rex first appeared as part of Prime Earth continuity in Batman (Volume 2) #1 by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo.
