Pieter Cross is a surgeon and one of the costumed adventurers to use the identity of Doctor Mid-Nite.
History
Once a member of the superhero team the Justice Society of America,[1] Cross operated the All-Star Clinic, a medical facility for metahumans, where he gave treatment to Ronnie Raymond, part of the gestalt hero Firestorm.[2] He also ran pregnancy testing for Linda Park, wife of the Flash,[3] while another Doctor Mid-Nite, Beth Chapel, took his place with the JSA.[4]

- Doctor Mid-Nite/Pieter Cross was created by Matt Wagner and John K. Snyder III, first appearing in Doctor Mid-Nite #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Doctor Mid-Nite/Pieter Cross first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Shazam! (Volume 3) #14 by Geoff Johns and Brett Booth.
