Plambar is the world's oldest and wickedest city, home to the Cult of Tyalpolo, the God of Evil.
History
Plambar is located between the mountains and the river, half a world away from Blackhawk Island, and is possibly the oldest city in the world, possibly just the wickedest. Crime and violence have reigned in Plambar since the beginning of time. Here it is believed that Evil is the strongest of all powers, and strength is what the people admire. The temple police carry rifles and the blasphemy laws are very strict. Human-size stone images of Tyalpolo are distributed throughout the city. It is thought that through these idols, Tyalpolo listens in on the conversations of his sinners.
After the end of the Second World War, the secret head of the Tyalpolo Cult was Jorp, publicly a quiet and friendly businessman, privately a murderous tyrant. His double life was known only to a handful of his servants. The Blackhawk Squadron visited Plambar in 1946, and before they left Jorp had been exposed as a schemer and a coward, and had died of fright.
