Synopsis for "The Homeliest Man in the World"
A man asks a startled Woozy if the sidekick thinks he's ugly. After receiving an answer in the affirmative, he asks Woozy to make him even more so by hitting him in the mouth with a baseball bat! Fortunately, Plastic Man is nearby and interrupts this act of brutality. When the homely man leaves his jacket behind in his sudden haste to be elsewhere, they find a card in the pocket advertising that the homeliest man in the city will be the recipient of $10,000,000...but Plastic Man fears the worst, because no place, time, or name is attached to the missive. Especially when a plane flies by dumping a load of handbills carrying the same message, and on their rush to headquarters Plas and Woozy find tons of people already mutilating their faces trying to prepare for this "competition".
While this chaos over a false prize is going on, the one who came up with the idea in the first place--a masked malcontent called Mr. Uglee--is taking advantage by robbing some banks. He simply raises his mask to knock out the workers with the horrors of his inhuman visage. Plas then realizes how to dissuade all the locals from disfiguring themselves: he reshapes himself into a beautiful woman, and walks around bemoaning how ugly all the men have become. Mr. Uglee has the blonde bombshell brought to his hideout, where the disguise is dropped, and he's knocked out a window in the course of the brawl into the hands of his previous victims. Woozy makes the mistake of telling the men that Uglee was doing it just so everyone would be even uglier than him, and they angrily beat the villain to death in revenge.
Soon, men are lining up around the block for their turn with a plastic surgeon.
