Synopsis for "The Mouse That Soared!"

Plas and Woozy are protecting the neighborhood of Max the Knife and his gang. The gang was harassing Marty "the Mouse" Meeker. After the incident, the gang rips Nancy's shirt, and she blames Marty. At night Marty goes to the roof because of the heat in his apartment, and is attacked by aliens. The next day, Marty survives a six-story fall. Marty now realizes that he has super powers, including super strength, invulnerability and the ability to sense evil where it is. At first Plastic Man's glad there's another superhero around to fight crime, but after he isn't able to make a bust for weeks, realizes he's redundant with Marty around and plans to relocate to another city with no superhero of its own. Woozy tries to talk to Marty about agreeing to let Plastic Man save them to make him feel useful again, and Marty says that'll be easy--his powers have been wearing off. When Marty and Woozy are attacked by some roughnecks, Plas believes it's just a show, until he sees Marty's girlfriend walking around with a musclebound man, talking about how he really is just a weak nobody again. He goes back and saves his pals, and Marty walks off, saying it was nice being a superhero while it lasted.
