The Plastic Perils, also called the Plastic Gang, were created by Dr. Irving Bravo, using the Responsometer created by Dr. Will Magnus.
History
The Metal Men had a difficult time defeating the Plastic Perils with Dr. Bravo taunting them that plastic was the future. They were eventually defeated when Gold, the leader of the Metal Men, studied the properties of plastic and learned of their low melting point. The Metal Men then used this knowledge to pour molten metal on the Plastic Perils, which destroyed them, and captured Dr. Bravo.
