Pluto Parulian was an enemy of Tom Strong that goes under the identity of Dr. Permafrost.

History

Parulian succeeded in defeating Strong when he kidnapped and apparently killed Strong's love interest, Greta Gabriel. By the early 21st century, Parulian passed away from old age and is survived by his son Pericles.

When Tom Strong saw his world turned into a Nazi-dominated world due to the actions of Albrecht and Ingrid Weiss by changing the past and allowing the Nazis to win World War II, Strong traveled back to the past and enlisted the aid of Parulian as Dr. Permafrost. Parulian agreed to help, especially influenced by the fact that most of his mother's side of her family are Jewish who were unable to escape persecution in Nazi Germany. During the battle against Albrecht Weiss, Parulian was mortally wounded which forced Tom Strong to taking him back to the future where he recovered from his injuries. Unfortunately, Strong cannot return Parulian to the past. Though Parulian accepted his new life and was glad to learn that his son is alive in this era and has a family, and finally making amends with Tom Strong as friends.
