Poison Ivy was a healer living in Gotham City specializing in herbal treatment.

History

Bruce Wayne was taken to her by his fiancee Glenda Mark, who hoped Ivy could fix his allergy to moonlight. Poison Ivy sensed an evil emanation coming from Bruce, and gave him some herbs to treat it. Unknown to her, Bruce was linked to the bat-demon Etrigan. This potion weakened Etrigan, and he was almost killed by Catwoman. Etrigan broke into Ivy's apartment and murdered her so she could no longer help Bruce Wayne.
