Synopsis for Destiny: "The Trance-Call Fails"

Roaming around in Main City looking for crime, Destiny hears a gunshot murder take place, yet his "Trance-Call" power doesn't activate, for the first time. This lapse fills Destiny with self doubt, which he puts aside, picks the house from which the noise came, barges in to the crime scene, and starts questioning witnesses. Their stories don't match up, but Destiny is distracted by the failure of his weird ability. But he pokes thru the evidence until he figures out the scam: The murdered man's wife and butler were collaborating on a scheme to fake the murder of the dead man, who was actually already dead, from suicide, which was why Destiny didn't sense evil. Done correctly this would get them a large life insurance settlement. Destiny told the arriving police that he could clear the widow and the butler of the murder charge, and did so, but in the process implicated them in fraud and other charges. They were both arrested.

Synopsis for Human Bomb: "Stand by for Action"

Mustapho the magician and escape artist is arrested, but shows the judge a preview of how hard it'll be to hold him by depositing his handcuffs on the judge's desk. That night he easily escapes and clings to the bottom of the warden's car as he leaves at the end of the day. Hustace goes to the hideout of Mustapho's old gang to look for clues, and finds Mustapho already there leading them in planning a new job. Mustapho's too clever for Hustace, catches him and suspends him with his feet off the floor.

Noticing his sidekick gone, Roy becomes the Human Bomb and blasts himself out the window. Hearing Mustapho's voice coming from the hideout, Bomb goes inside only for Mustapho to hold him at bay with secret panels and bombardments of bananas. When Bomb manages to get through them all, Mustapho prepares to commit suicide rather than go back to prison. However Bomb knocks him out, and injects Mustapho with the chemical he'd been working on: a formula that dispels Mustapho's criminal insanity and renders him a sane and balanced member of society.
