Synopsis for Plastic Man: "One Million Dollar Reward for the Death of Plastic Man"
Plastic Man and Woozy are assigned to protect Professor Zwerling, a brilliant behind-the-scenes man for the F.B.I. A million dollar bounty's been put out for both him and Plastic Man by the underworld. Meanwhile, Boss Skullman decides to go to a private retreat to come up with a way to get rid of Plastic Man in peace and quiet. A would-be assassin, Rocky Goober, proves himself to Skullman by hiding himself in one of the beer barrels the criminals brought with them into hiding. Several attempts fail, until Plastic Man returns to Zwerling's lab, who apparently committed suicide while Woozy was sleeping on the job. Plas notes several things that make him suspicious (misspellings in the suicide note, the ink in the pen used to write it should've frozen because of the low temperature in the lab), and catches Rocky Goober hiding in a cabinet waiting to spring another trap. Woozy attacks Goober, recognizing him from a time when Goober tried to pick his pocket. Rocky's so scared from the beating Woozy gives him, he confesses everything, allowing the police to haul in Skullman and henchmen too. The real Zwerling enters, revealing his "corpse" to just be a dummy used to lure Rocky into making a move.

Synopsis for Manhunter: "Framed by Arno Roxx"
Crooked attorney Arno Roxx declares he'll bring down Manhunter after the vigilante captures most of his gang, sending his last underling out to get a strange list of items. Manhunter seemingly kills the banker Larkin that night, and when the real Manhunter comes to investigate he's caught and arrested. City officials plan to unmask him the next morning, but he manages to escape his cell by having Thor slip out the window and bring back his uniform. As Officer Richards, he slips by the absent-minded officer on duty by pretending he's coming back from doing an interrogation on Manhunter that other officer thinks he just didn't remember.
Manhunter decides to look in on Arno Roxx, remembering him as the former employer of a thief who once tried to rob Larkin's bank. He comes by in time to overhear Roxx repeating his plan involving wearing a copy of Manhunter's outfit as he killed Larkin while the police were driving up. Roxx is no match for the real Manhunter, and after a few punches agrees to confess everything.
