Synopsis for "Up, Up & Away - Part One"
Power Girl and Superman are fighting back a herd of prehistoric creatures rampaging through Manhattan. Oddly, their super-hearing is being hampered, and those animals are unexpectedly strong, to the point of being able to hurt both Kryptonian cousins.
Two weeks earlier, Karen Starr identity was throwing a company party to celebrate Starrware Industries' re-opening. Now Maxwell Lord had been exposed as her company's embezzler, the bank was making full restitution, and she personally saw that the federal government got her company's experiments back.
Earlier that day, Power Girl and Superman were meeting up on the top of Daily Planet. Kara had arranged a press conference to put herself front and center and get Starrware's name out there. Kara insisted it wasn't a stress reaction to her problems but just a way to take control of her life, but her cousin was worried about her ability to handle her secret identity and suggested she made Karen Starr into a real person.
While both cousins were engaged in conversation, on Manhattan a stranger invoked an army of prehistoric creatures. Power Girl and Superman heard their rampage and headed towards New York City.
Now, as Power Girl is wondering how a bunch of dinosaurs can make them bleed, both cousins are attacked by two Spinosaurus. Superman has figured out what they are, though, so he lets one of them swallow him whole. He bursts out of its belly straight after, having verified that dinosaur was a stone creature animated by magic means.
In the meantime, Kara and Kal are being observed by the hooded man who spelled the dinosaurs in existence and who has kidnapped Zatanna.
