Synopsis for "Fun! Fish! Facts!"

At the Stetler/Clay apartment, Omen tries to get some sleep until she is awakened by Power Girl, who is anxious about her upcoming date with Axel Gust, even though it will happen 15 hours from now. Knowing that Power Girl won't let her sleep until she gets what she wants, Omen decides to help her. Power Girl sends Axel a text message about where are they going for their date and Axel replies that he wants to go the aquarium. Power Girl and Omen sleep until morning until Power Girl awakens and realizes she is late for her meeting with Lois.

At the Daily Planet, Lois says that she wanted to talk to Paige because Lois feels that Paige is not prioritzing her column as much as Lois hoped she would. Although Paige hasn't missed a single deadline, she has still had to put her column on the backburner for more important things, like saving the world. For that reason, Lois will put Mariposa in charge of her Paige's column. Paige is not happy with this decision, as she had already constructed her secret identity around her job in the Daily Planet, but Lois says that Paige is not cut out for an office job and she would work better in the field. With her powers and passionate writing, Paige could do a lot more good by reporting from crisis zones than writing in an office. Paige says that she will think about it.

Later that night, Paige begins her date with Axel. She tries to impress him with her knowledge on aquamarine life but they just end up laughing at each other. She changes the subject and admits she got fired from her job and Axel says that he could try convincing his company to offer her a job, even though Paige says that she is not interested in working for the CIA. Paige continues that her boss gave her the opportunity to have a job in which she could travel a lot but she originally took her job at the Daily Planet so that she could be closer to her family, but she fears that this new job will drive her further away from them.

Suddenly, their date is interrupted by Aquus, an aquatic entity that wants to release her brethren from their supposed imprisonment. Paige quickly runs away so that she can put on her uniform, but once she returns, she is shocked to find that not only Axel recognizes as Power Girl, he has changed clothes, as well. Steel arrives at the scene and fights Aquus so that Power Girl and Axel can talk in private. Axel has trouble believing that Paige and Power Girl are the same person and nervously summons magical daggers from his hands.

As Steel incapacitates Aquus with a tranquilizer dart, Power Girl and Axel start arguing and accusing each other of setting the other up. All this time, Power Girl believe that Axel was a CIA agent, but now she realizes that isn't the case. She starts crying and accusing Axel of pretending to like her just to set her up, but Axel admits that he does like her and this whole event was just a misunderstanding. When Power Girl asks who Axel is, he grabs her right hand and opens a portal to his homeland: Asgard.
