Power Girl (Volume 3) #14 is an issue of the series Power Girl (Volume 3) with a cover date of December, 2024. It was published on October 23, 2024.
Synopsis for "Veni Vidi Luigi or Whatever the Romans Said"
Ejecta, the new superhuman that attacked Omen, has become the latest sensation to take Metropolis by storm. Within just a few weeks, she has already inspired a group of followers and even gained the attention of influencers. Power Girl and Natasha clearly don't trust someone who attacked their friend, even when she claimed that it was just a misunderstanding, so they have decided to investigate her.
Paige goes the Daily Planet, hoping to ask permission to Lois about doing an exposé on Ejecta, but Lois is nowhere to be found. Instead, she finds Mariposa taking care of Lois' job as editor. Mariposa is already trying to uncover Ejecta's secrets and Paige invites her to her apartment.
Meanwhile, Omen is still depressed for getting ambushed by Ejecta, until she is visited by both Natash and Axel, who hope to cheer her up with various kinds of food. Omen reluctantly agrees to take a shower and join her friends for lunch, just as Paige and Mariposa to arrive at the apartment. Paige reveals to Mariposa that she and her friends and superheroes and they need her help to find out whatever Ejecta is hiding. Mariposa believes that Ejecta isn't actually a telepath and can't predict the future. Instead, she is probably using A.I. to keep watch on wealthy neighborhoods, hoping to get big rewards for her services. This gives Power Girl the idea to set up a trap for Ejecta in a place she normally doesn't keep a watch on.
Power Girl, Omen and Natasha travel to the old Daily Star building and start vandalizing it to get Ejecta's attention. The plan works and Omen uses her telepathy to prevent Ejecta from escaping while Power Girl and Natasha attack her. Unfortunately, Ejecta had already known that the heroines were expecting her, so she shuts down Omen's telepathy and pushes into a coma. While Power Girl and Natasha attempt to help Omen, Ejecta escapes to the faraway realm of Dolira, where she is received by her father Symbio. The attack on Omen was just the beginning. What Symbio and Ejecta really want is the destruction of Power Girl.
