Power Girl (Volume 3) #18 is an issue of the series Power Girl (Volume 3) with a cover date of April, 2025. It was published on February 26, 2025.
Synopsis for "Does Anyone Want to Play Tixit with Mariposa?"
As news outlets report over the mysterious force field that has enveloped the Star Building, Steel desperately tries to break through the force field and save his niece, an action repeated by Power Girl inside the force field itself. She's trying to escape because she doesn't want to run out of oxygen, but Natasha replies that it will be an entire year before the lack of oxygen becomes a problem. Besides, Power Girl is a Kryptonian. She can hold her breath for a long time. Power Girl admits she feels nervous in enclosed spaces because of her experiences with the Symbioship.
Suddenly, a jet of water drags Natasha into the nearby woods and Power Girl follows her, only to be ambushed by Sprig, who sprays a toxin that causes Power Girl to fall unconscious. As the dinosaurs attack the Star Building, Power Girl's body is surrounded by roots.
Three hours earlier, Power Girl's Viking friends had arrived at the Star Building, just as the Mars Ball warns about incoming danger. Natasha receives a message about the breakout in Stryker's Island, so Power Girl gathers Natasha and Omen to investigate. Mariposa doesn't want to be left alone because she doesn't know how to throw a party, but Power Girl replies that her mission shouldn't take too long.
Sprig and Aquus, having already escaped from Stryker's, travel to the forest next to the Star Building so they can find their remaining brother, Bruin. Aquus is having second thoughts about exterminating humanity because she likes humans, but Sprig replies that she simply likes eating them, which isn't the same thing as actually liking humans. Besides, this task was given to them by their mother. They find Bruin meditating in the middle of the woods. He communicates through the American Sign Language because he dislikes human languages, even though Sprig points out that sing language is itself a human language. The Void Three cast a spell to disrupt time but they are interrupted by Power Girl and his friends who have finished their mission at Stryker's.
In the present, Omen and Natasha attempt to defend themselves from the Void Three, with Power Girl unable to help them.
