Power Girl (Volume 3) #19 is an issue of the series Power Girl (Volume 3) with a cover date of May, 2025. It was published on March 26, 2025.
Synopsis for "The Gang Meets the Void Three"
As Power Girl's allies attempt to stop Bruin and Aquus, Power Girl herself awakens deep underground, surrounded by large pillars of ice. Her captor, Sprig, warns that if she tries to escape, she will inadvertently cause an earthquake and kill the people she's trying to save. Power Girl asks what is Sprig trying to accomplish with his attack on the Star and Sprig explains that he and his siblings are the Void Three, children of a cosmic entity known as the "Mother Unwinder". She is trying to return to the universe to a state of nothingness and her next target is Earth. The Void Three had cast a spell that open a black hole that would destroy the planet, but the construction of the Star interrupted and destabilized the spell. Time itself began to unravel, which explains why dinosaurs are present on the Star's courtyard.
Power Girl wonders why Sprig doesn't seem that upset that Power Girl and her friends are opposing his plans and believes that, deep down, he doesn't want to follow his mother's orders. Sprig replies that she doesn't know anything about him and Power Girl agrees. She just kept him talking so she could find him with her super-hearing and attack him with her astral punches. Power Girl reunites with her allies, and with support from Siegfried, they force the Void Three to fall back, but not before Sprig warns that his mother will learn about what happened on Earth.
The force field around the Star disappears and Mariposa uses the opportunity to talk to the cameras and reporters surrounding the area to promote the rebuilt Star and their latest product, a social media platform with elements of augmented reality that will facilitate exploration of Metropolis while also being fully committed to building a strong community between local users. Supergirl and Krypto arrive at the party and Supergirl is surprised over the presence of dinosaurs at the Star, while Power Girl eats the cupcakes she brought.
Somewhere, in outer space, the Void Three report their failure to their mother, who is displeased and decides to finish their mission.
With the fight and the party over, Paige goes to her bed, with Axel waiting for her. The next morning, Paige gets a phone call from Lois, who is disappointed that she and Mariposa left the Daily Planet just to set up an A.I. app. Paige is confused by Lois' comments, until Axel turns on the TV and they see that Karen Starr, CEO of Starr Technologies, has announced her return by launching the A.I. app Lois was talking about.
