Power Girl (Volume 3) #20 is an issue of the series Power Girl (Volume 3) with a cover date of June, 2025. It was published on April 23, 2025.
Synopsis for "Time to Fly"
Somewhere, high above Asgard, Power Girl and Axel enjoy a private moment together and indulge in some stargazing. This peaceful moment is brief, though, as Power Girl still has to worry about the Karen Starr imposter and the impact she could have on their future plans.
The next day, Power Girl's friends perform their daily activities, until Paige walks into the kitchen and, thanks to her telepathy, Omen immediately tells she isn't really Paige. She is Karen Starr and begins her attack on Power Girl's friends by transforming her body into weapons. Natasha, having heard noise in another part of the building, puts on her armor and tells Mariposa to stay in her room while she and Omen take care of the intruder.
Karen, in an attempt to confuse Omen, changes her appearance to look like Natasha, for she knows that Natasha's mind is shielded against telepathy and Karen herself is made of machinery. Luckily, Mariposa walks in and punches the imposter in the face. With her cover blown, Karen escapes, just as Power Girl returns and finds the girls are okay, but Mariposa injured her hand punching Karen. Power Girl is frustrated that Karen escaped, but for now, she just wants to get through the day and focus on tomorrow.
The next morning, Paige and her friends prepare for the press conference that will mark the beginning of their new company, Stargraze. Paige's friends hold the conference while Power Girl takes the opportunity to visit Karen in her office over at Starr Enterprise. She has already deduced that Karen is actually Ejecta and this is just another plan by Ejecta and her father Symbio to ruin Power Girl's life, but Power Girl doesn't care about that. Ejecta can't even access to Karen Starr's money but Power Girl has already used it to fund her own activities. Power Girl isn't Karen anymore and Ejecta can have that name if she wants it, but for now, Ejecta will have to settle for just being a rival to Power Girl at the tech market and the winner will be decided by the consumers. Paige returns to her friends just in time to see the rest of the conference.
Later that evening, while they enjoy drinks, Mariposa admits she has feelings for Natasha, who agrees to take her out to dinner, while Omen goes to talk to Power Girl, who still wonders if her life is genuinely of consequence. Omen says that, yes, Power Girl's life is important because of her capacity for love, and then reunites with Siegfried, while Power Girl is left to think about what Omen told her. Power Girl realizes that her connections and relationships have given her life meaning and now, she has made peace with herself and the world around her.
